Our House

After looking at six houses we found one that we loved.  This is an older home built in 1909, it has1800 sq feet.  It is a 3 bedroom, and it has one full bath and two half baths. There is a full unfinished basement and a two stall garage with storage space.  It has a lot of older charm and several built-in's.  We fell in love with this house, and pending an inspection, we hope to call this one ours.

This is the front yard, Jon and I hope to be able to make the front porch bigger that way we can put a few chairs on it, and maybe even screen it in.  But that is a ways down the road.

The entry, on the other side is a little bench that you can use to put on or take off your shoes.

The front room.  On the left is the dining room and on the right is the stairway and you can also see the family room through it.

Another view of the front room or living room, we love the exposed beams on the ceiling.

Looking through to the next room.

The dining room, we love all of the wood trim.  There is also a very nice chandelier in this room.

A built in china cabinet.

The other side of the dining room.

The family room.

The kitchen, it has a matching light fixture to the two in the family room.

Looking into the dining room from the kitchen.

A room off of the kitchen, we will use it as a pantry, this goes down to the basement.  This is also the back door.

Master bedroom with a balcony, this also has a half bath in it.  There are two closets and a little nook for extra storage.

This will be James' room, he has a large closet ans an extra storage nook.

There is another smaller bedroom with a built in dresser and a closet, that bedroom is not carpeted.  We might use it as an office or something, we are not sure yet.

The backyard, it is a little small but there is a school a block away and a huge park not too far from us.  You can see a small portion of the garage and the back fence.

Looking from the alley toward the house.

This is the house we fell in love with in ND, we will have the inspection done soon and hopefully we will call it home next month.
