Last night we went to see Cousin Jacob play some baseball in Forest Park. He is playing for the Capahas this Summer. It was a perfect night for baseball, it was warm with a nice breeze and there were hardly any bugs out. The game started at 7:30, but because of James' bedtime we were only able to watch an hour of it. Before the the game we had dinner with Uncle David and Aunt Marilyn, then we went straight to the field. We arrived an hour before the games started, so in that time we were able to visit with Jacob.
"When will it start?"
James figured out how to get into the cooler to get to the ice. He enjoyed sampling each cube, then throwing it back in for another.
"Here you go little buddy, a new ball for you."
During the game James played with Aunt Marilyn.
Jon talking with Uncle David.
Aunt Marilyn brought fruit snacks for James, he was so excited. He kept bringing them to us and asking us to open them for him.
"Where is cousin Jacob?"
It has been a while since we saw Jacob up at bat, but here he is.
