Waterloo schools went back to school on Thursday, which gave us the perfect day to go to the Science Center. The pictures might be a little blurry because I just used my phone.
Paul was fascinated with the lightning, I did not really see him touch it though.
Becky found something that had a ball, so Michael was thrilled. After the ball fell out Michael picked it up and ran away with it. I tracked him down and made him put it back.
We then went downstairs where he was happy to find another ball, but this one was locked up behind glass. You were supposed to put your hands in from the back and guess what you are feeling while another person tells you if you are right. Everything was nailed or glued down so Michael did not get the chance to take off with the ball.
Jon was filling the parachute with hot air.
Paul was pretending to be a weather man.
The boys were attempting to land a plane with the flight simulator.
There was a thing that demonstrated static electricity. Jon and Becky are looking in a mirror to see if their hair was standing up, it was a little.
Paul's hair stood up the most.
James tried to lift 500 lbs on his own.
It worked better when Dad helped him, and he learned a little bit about pulleys.
