Excuses

James is starting to get creative with his excuses.  Here are a few that I can remember.

Reason for not picking up,

I just already did that.

I think it looks nice.

I am not done playing.

I want Dad to see it.

Reason for not eating his food,

I already had some this week.

I already have that color on my plate.

I only want one color on my plate.

Reasons for taking toys away from his brother,

 I'm just . . .

checking it

showing him how to use it

making sure it won't hurt him

seeing if it works

helping him

seeing if it has all its pieces

looking at it

I am certain that he has many other reasons for doing and not doing things, but these were the ones I can remember.
