Ice Fishing

I turned a cardboard box into a puppet theater, that lasted for 15 minutes. It did include a story about a garbage truck being faster than a race car. Then it was tipped on its back and turned into an ice fishing boat. 

Of course it was an ice fishing boat because it has a hole in it that allows you to break through the ice first. 

First they grabbed their hammers to breakthrough the ice. They used the claw like a pick because it is sharper and it would crack the ice faster.

Then James grabbed a book to make sure they did everything correctly. It is a book about ducks, but the ducks go out onto the ocean and they are ice fishing on the ocean, 

I love how James grabbed the camera to take a picture as soon as Michael caught a fish.

 James and Michael switched books, they started to look at a dinosaur book. That is when Daniel snuck up to the boat and grabbed the fishing pole and camera.

 He also tried to get into the boat, that was harder than he thought it was going to be, So he gave up and went back to the camera.

 Not fish related, but it happened the same night.

Daniel became a Star Wars fan. He found some toys left on the floor by Michael and he went after them. I know his Dad is very proud of him.

 Michael was rolling the ball around, I happened to catch him tossing it. I love his face after he realized what he did, he knows that he is not supposed to throw/toss balls in the house.

 Daniel thought that Michael was funny.

Last picture of the evening was Michael on top of Daniel, and Daniel not caring at all. Don't worry, he wasn't on him for a long time and he was just fine.
