We were supposed to go to the park for a Safe Kids activity day. They were going to have crafts for the kids and safety information for parents. It sounded like a lot of fun, only it rained earlier in the day so they moved it indoors. We did not know this until we arrived at the park. We brought the boys in the stroller and James was already wet from puddle jumping on our way to the park so we decided to skip the event and continue to the play ground equipment. We would have had to go home and change James and drive to the place, so staying at the park sounded like a lot more fun and a lot less challenging.
James decided to stop heading for the play ground and go to the horse shoe court.
Why? Because he spotted all the puddles that needed to be jumped through.

It was time for Michael to try puddle jumping. He really liked it, especially when his brother came by to splash us.
Overall, I think the morning turned out to be a little more enjoyable even though our plans changed. We had a lot more fun jumping through the puddles and getting wet. We did go to the play area and James went down a slide. Because both he and the slide were wet he went down a lot faster than he anticipated. Jon could barely keep a straight face and I didn't even bother trying. I tried to get him to go down again so I could get it on camera, but that didn't happen. Jon said that maybe he will forget about it and next time we go to the park after it rains we will get it then. So we will see.
