We took James trick-or-treating with Jessica, Josh and their son Joel. We only went around one block and stopped by Pastor Fenske's house on the way home. James did a great job, he would walk up to the houses on the side walk, he would ring the doorbell or knock on the door and he would wait for the person or people to answer. Once they would answer the door and offer him candy he would get upset because he couldn't go inside the house. Maybe next year he will be excited about the candy. However, when we stopped at Pastor Fenske's, James was allowed to go inside so he was very happy.
The Grand Forks Police Department was out and handing out candy to the kids.
Group shot.
When we got home we started to hand out candy to the kids in the neighborhood. James would stand at the door and get excited when the kids would come up the walk, then he would try to put several pieces of candy in their buckets. It turns out he would rather give than receive.
