Thanksgiving

Grandma and Grandpa Buescher were able to join us for Thanksgiving.  Thankfully the weather was beautiful and there was not a blizzard that would have prevented travel.  Jon preached on Wednesday for the Thanksgiving Eve service and again on Thursday for Thanksgiving Day.  It was nice that his parents were able to hear him and James did really well at both services.

Grandma was showing James the pictures she took of Bella and Bo in Colorado.

Playing with cars.

We did get less than an inch of snow on Friday.  James and Grandma took a walk out in it.  We found out that James does not like snow on the stroller wheels that had to go on the walk, nor does he like snow on his boots or his mittens.  I think it will be a very long winter :)
We pulled out the sled, I thought it might be easier to push than the stroller.

When Grandma grabbed the snow shovel that became more exciting.

Playing inside with Grandpa.

We celebrated Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa on Saturday.  James was excited to open the first gift.

Four John Deere toys, after that he did not want to open any more, he just wanted to play.
That is until Grandma told him he should open another one, it turned out to be a John Deere barn with animals.  Mel and Jon could not get it together fast enough for him to play with.

It was a fun Thanksgiving weekend, and as always when you are having fun with family, it was too short.
