Last Soccer Game of the season

James had his last soccer game on Saturday, and it was a beautiful day for it.  He finally didn't have to wear a sweatshirt underneath his jersey and the fields were dry.
Above is a picture of the park where soccer is played, Jon wanted you to see how many soccer games were going on at once, there are a lot.  It was hard for Michael when we were able to go because he really didn't have space to run around or kick a ball without running into another game area.
A team picture, of course James is the one playing with the net.
James loved playing soccer so we will sign him up again in the fall. The past two games James decided to be the kid who inspects the grass. The members that saw him were shocked and I just laughed. No one expected him to be the kid that sits in the grass while the game goes on around him, especially because he is non-stop the rest of the time. Who knows, maybe soccer will calm him down. If that is the case we should have soccer year round :)
James in his uniform and shin guards. His socks have built in shin guards, which is the greatest thing ever for little kids. I thought it would be a struggle to put them on and keep them on, but these are wonderful and so easy.
Action shot.
