I ran my first 10K on Saturday. It was a hot muggy day. The best part was the firemen were waiting at the finish line to hose you down.
It was the Go Far Women's Only race to benefit Ascension Hospital's NICU.
Lisa and I split the 1/2 marathon and Marie ran the whole thing by herself.
I was just so happy that I finished.
Benjamin, I do not know what place I took, it was not first (first place was a woman who ran the 1/2 in 1 hour 21.64 minutes, that is an average of 6.28 minute/miles), but I was also not last.
