IN

We drove 2 hours into IN and arrived at the home of Andy, Jessica and Baby Clara.  Grandma Wiltenburg was there and she was finally able to meet Michael.  We had homemade soup for lunch, which was great because it was cool and rainy.  After lunch Jessica, Angela and Aunt Vicki took us to see the school, there we played in the gym.

Jessica taught Michael how to make a basket.
Grandma brought out the parachute and some rubber chickens to play with.  All the adults grabbed a handle and made the chickens "fly" off of the parachute.  James loved it so much that he went and collected all the chickens so that we could do it again.  While the other kids were playing under the parachute he was helping us bounce off the chickens.  I think we need a parachute and some rubber chickens this winter.
When we went outside after playing in the gym we realized that it had stopped raining.  So we played on the playground for a bit.  The older cousins played follow the leader, Benjamin would go around a puddle and Paul and James would run through it.  Eventually we were able to make them sit long enough for a picture, but that was very brief.

The next day we went to the Children's Museum, Jessica had some great coupons that allowed half of us to get in for free.  One of the things James loved was this parachute thing.  The claw lifts it up and drops it down, he loved playing with this.
Michael loved the water table, of course.
The other thing that James loved was the tornado simulator, he could not stop watching that or the cloud maker.  I did not get a picture of him with the cloud maker.
Grandpa and Grandma started to build the arch with James, as you can see James moved on after a while.
They almost had it complete, that last piece is a tricky one!
 Michael and Grandma studying geology.
 Michael also enjoyed the piano.
Angela made a great mexican dinner for us on our last night.  Her sister in law also came down with her three kids.  Benjamin and Ben bonded over their names and their love of Mario.
The adults relaxed while the kids played on the floor.
