When we got home from our trip we decided it was time for James and Michael to share a room. Michael's old room has become my craft room and the toy room.
It was a little hard for James to get used to, but we rearranged his room and brought in the changing table and made room for Michael. It helped that I picked up this art table/easel at a garage sale ($5) to go into the room.
It isn't too different, James liked his bed by the window and he was upset that Michael now has that window, but he likes that he is close to his art table.
Now that they share a room, there is a lot less sleep happening. The first night they stayed up until 11:00, and it was 10:00 the next night. Michael has started to take 3 naps to make up for it, and as you can see James has started taking more naps as well. The past two nights Michael has decided to ignore James and fall asleep on his own. James has tried to wake him up but Michael ignores him. Hopefully soon James will learn to fall asleep sooner and let Michael be.
