James is getting better and better at helping us out in the kitchen. He loves to measure, pour and especially mix with the mixer. Thankfully, when we are done he is eager to get the dust pan and broom to help clean up.
James wanted to help with the cookies that he would take to class for Valentine's day, he has his own rolling pin and he is ready to go.
I think he was jealous of how much dough I had to roll out and he only had a little bit, that was stuck to the pin.
After the rolling, cutting, baking and cooling it was time to frost the cookies.
So far he is doing well.
Then he decides to taste the frosting, and from that point on it was a little frosting for the cookie and two big things for me.
Don't worry, I gave him his own container and I made some more for the ones that we were going to share.
I think he did a wonderful job (yes I did give him the burnt ones to play with, I knew he would not eat them and that he would just lick of the frosting, which he did).
The ones that I helped with.
We decided to attempt our own noodles for a special Valentine's day meal. James was excited to use the rolling pin again and even more excited to play with flour.
I asked him to show me how messy he was.
After Dad got home and the meal passed the test, it was time to play. Jon was teaching James his colors using the cars. James loves to say everything is either black or yellow.
This is how James likes to sit on Jon, just balancing his mind and body while he learns.
