Sledding

We woke up this morning to 4 inches of freshly fallen snow.  Jon was excited to use the snow blower for the first time to clear the driveway and James and I cleared the sidewalks.  It was a beautiful day, 27' and the sun was shining so after nap time we took James sledding.  He was excited at first just because of all the snow that was on the ground, but after Jon showed him what we were doing at the hill, he was thrilled.

An action picture of them going down.

A view of the dike that is also known as the sledding hill.

After a few rounds of sledding down, James was curious to see what was on the other side of the fence.  They put the fence up so that you can't sled down the other side of the hill.  That side is for snow shoeing and cross country skiing, something we are excited to try out.

All that snow can be exhausting!
