Merry Christmas!! We really enjoyed our first Christmas in North Dakota, despite the fact that it was a brown one. We had 2 Christmas Eve services and normal services on Sunday. Jon did the children's message on Christmas Eve and he preached on Christmas day. James did very well for having church 2 days in a row. He almost fell asleep on the floor this morning during church, thankfully it was near the end of the service and he knew his cue to run into Dad's arms to greet everyone as they left.
A family picture on Christmas Eve.
After church and a good nap in his bed we dressed James up and made him stand by the tree.
He decided he would rather look at the camera with Dad instead of standing alone.
Even though we were not able to be with family on Christmas day, we did celebrate the birth of Jesus with some members of our church family. We had a wonderful meal and we topped it off with an ice cream birthday cake for Jesus.
James loved it!
Here is a picture of the group that came over to celebrate with us.
Kristen and her mom Katrina and dad Mike, Grandma Jean then James, me and Jon and then Arlene.
We hope that you had a blessed Christmas and may God continue to bless you in the coming year.
