Michael is 18 Months

Our little Michael is 18 months.
He is doing so much and he does not stop talking.  His favorite question is "_____ do?"  Which is what does ___do?  For instance, "dada do?" is what does dad do?  He also knows what he wants and he will tell you.  He still antagonizes James and he loves to play with his ball.  For meals he prefers meat and he doesn't like fruit as much.  He will eat carrots and sweet potatoes, but he isn't really fond of vegetables.  If the dessert isn't chocolate, then he isn't interested (he did like the cream cheese roll).
Despite the cold weather (-45 right now with wind chill), he loves to play outside and he loves to go "bye bye".  If he can he will grab my phone and he will make a phone call.  I have some easily accessible emergency numbers that James and Michael know how to call, so those numbers gets dialed often.  He will just walk around the house talking to them, especially right after he gets in trouble.  He has to call someone and tell them his side of the story.

He is a little stinker, but he is such a joy.  Jon and I still laugh at him when he attempts to throw a tantrum, which of course makes him mad.  He doesn't throw them often as a result.  He is so curious, and he loves to read books and learn.  He is often trying to repeat the words we say and what we do.  He is no longer satisfied with climbing up the stairs, he has to walk up the stairs on 2 feet like everyone else.  It requires him to hold on to the railing with both hands and take 30 seconds on each step, but he does it.
This is his "I don't want to say cheese" look.
We are so thankful that God has blessed us with two wonderful boys.  They are also very excited about the coming baby and James checks on my tummy daily to see if the baby is ok.
