September

The month of September flew by for us.  It was the start of choir,  Bible Studies, Confirmation and so much more.  For a little bit of fun, we started the month off with a few craft projects.  Michael is holding our 1 John 4:19 sign(we love because He first loved us), focusing on the love part.  James' hand is the O and Michael's feet are the V.  We also made a fingerprint fall tree.
Grandma Meyer, Aunt Rachel, Daisy and Pixie also came for a visit.  While they were here Jon and I had an overnight trip to Fargo for a workshop.  The evening away was great and the workshop was very informative, but I think next time we will have to plan a little better to give us some more downtime.  The work shop went from 6-8 on Friday and 8-8 on Saturday.
While we were gone James and Grandma made chocolate chip cookies and James was able to walk the dogs.  They had so much fun and James has not stopped talking about the visit.
Daisy is the big dog and Pixie is the little one.
Aunt Rachel also brought Michael's birthday present with her, and I can understand why she didn't want to ship it.  She painted Bible story blocks for Michael.  Right now Jon, James and I are more excited about them.  Jon is looking forward to using them with chapel and children's sermons, and James and I like to tell stories.

James built a tower and you can see a few of them, like the creation, part of Noah's ark and some people.
James likes to build towers with them and when he is done building he wrecks them.
Michael couldn't believe his brother did that to his blocks.

Yes Benjamin this is another matching outfit :)
Michael is running now and James is talking in full sentences.  He still calls everyone a "he" but he will get better soon.  Michael can definitely hold his own against James.  Today James kept taking things away from Michael, so when James was playing silently on the floor Michael jumped on his back and started to hit him and pull his hair.  I know he had it coming but I did have to break it up.  Hopefully James will learn his lesson soon.
It isn't a battle every day, here is a glimmer oh hope.  They are sharing a game and playing together.
