Easter Weekend

We started off the festivities on Thursday with an Easter egg hunt at church.  James would run around find an egg, throw the contents on the floor and keep on running.  He found a lot of eggs but only managed to bring one home.  He didn't seem to mind though.

Grandpa and Grandma Buescher arrived a little later, I appreciated the extra help with the extra services.  It was very nice to celebrate Easter with them and to be able to spend some time with them.  James loved that there were more people to play trains with him and Michael is always happy for an extra set of hands to hold him.

Jon and Mel went out for breakfast with Pastor Fenske and few other members to discuss our upcoming capital campaign.  I had to go pick up flowers and take them to church.  So Barb took James to the GF Easter egg hunt.  They seemed to have had a great time, James did not win any of the big prizes but he is still talking about how much fun he had, so thank you Grandma.
There was a firetruck there that he was able to sit in.
James with his cookie that he was able to decorate himself.
Frosting is the best part.
 Playing trains with Grandpa.
James was helping Grandma play games.

We had a mini celebration for Dad's birthday.  James made sure that there was cake (his wooden play one) and Jon opened his gifts.  One was the Apocrypha, study guide and mens Bible study.  He was also given a new briefcase.

James dyed Easter eggs with the help of Grandma, Dad and Mom.  He did a good job and he wasn't as messy as I thought he would be.

 Brotherly love.

 Caught red handed!!
It takes a while to find the right magazine.

James showing off his new Thomas the Train outfit and that he has a matching train.
