Oh James!

So James is getting more creative with things.  Here are a few stories:

James likes to pray when we get in the car for safe travels (good deals while we shop) and if we see or hear an emergency vehicle for those involved.  The other day when we came to an intersection where an accident was being cleaned up and everyone was still there, James (after being excited about the tow trucks, police cars and fire truck) asked to pray.  I told him that was a good idea so we started.  While we were praying the left lane arrow turned green so I took my turn and went.  I was cut off and I said "oh come on!!".  James then said "no, Mamma, praying", lesson learned, thank you James.
I bought some window markers to help us get through the winter.  James loves to draw on the windows.

James tries to put bedtime off for as long as possible, he makes a lot of excuses.  He needs water, his tummy hurts, his puppy is out of bed, he drools on his pillow then complains that it is wet.  His latest one was handled by Jon.
James: Dad, big owie
Jon: where's the owie
James: Eye
Jon: What happened?
James: Finger.
Jon: Don't do that.
There was a tractor expo in town and James and Jon went to check out the new tractors.

James woke up crying because he fell asleep on his arm.  I went in and asked him what was wrong.
James: Arm broken, need doctor
Me: No, it isn't broken you just fell asleep on it, give it a little bit.
James: Arm broken, (i) need to build snowman tomorrow
He was worried that he was not going to be able to build a snowman in the morning.  I sat with him until his arm felt better and yes he was able to play in the snow in the morning.

James got his hair cut.

James wanted to have some fruit snacks for breakfast.  I told him and I went upstairs to put some laundry away.  When I came down James and Michael were on the floor next to the snack drawer.  James was trying to open up a package of fruit snacks and when he saw me he threw the package to Michael.  He said "Michael did it".  Funny, he is already very willing to throw his brother under the bus.  Michael however was just thrilled to get something to play with.
