We recently had a death in the family, we found out on Sunday after church and headed out Monday morning. The journey was long but well worth it, we were sorry about the circumstances but so happy to see friends and family.
Our first stop was in WI and we stayed with the Wedens. We were able to catch up with Andy and Julianna and see Caleb who is going to be a big brother in July.
In MI we stayed with the Matyas's, James and Olivia picked up right were they left off. We were also able to see the parsonage and church. They have 3 fireplaces and we took advantage of one and roasted marshmallows.
We spent some time with my brothers and Ben held two of his youngest nephews, Michael and Kenny. Michael was born on May 23 and Kenny was born on May 24.
Uncle Chris with Leah on his lap (the only girl), Steven and James.
We also had dinner with my family and were able to visit with Grandpa and Grandma Meyer, Aunt Jeanie and Auntie Em.
The last stop on our trip was with Grandpa and Grandma Buescher. James was very excited to play with toys and Grandpa's tractors. We also went to Chuck-E-Cheese for lunch. James had so much fun riding the rides and playing all the games.
If only we had one around us, I know where I would spend my days.
James inserting all his tickets.
