Our friend Mike mows the church lawn every week. One Friday we scheduled a time for James to go to church and ride on the tractor. He was very excited to hop on and start pushing all the buttons.
While James was enjoying the sunshine, Michael was sleeping in the van.
James tried to convince everyone that he could do it himself, of course no one believed him.
The baby shower
Mike's wife Katrina threw a shower for Michael. It was held at the church and many women showed up. I think the best part for them was that they were able to hold Michael as I opened gifts.

It didn't take James long to find the cake and snatch a piece for himself. Of course after the frosting was licked off he wanted to be clean.
Also guess what his nutritious lunch was, cake. He ate enough cake that he wasn't hungry when we got home. He did manage to eat some grapes and cheese after his nap, so there was something healthy in his tummy.
