Before and After

We have had a few changes around here other than adding another boy to the family.  Here are a few pictures of things that we were working on before we welcomed Michael home.
This is the family room, this picture was taken last July.  Look at how small James was, and so chubby.
The family room always felt dark, so we painted it "riviera dunes", which is a very light tan.  I think it really brightened it up in there.  This project is not done yet, so if you come and visit us any time soon you will notice one wall that is still not painted.
This is the nursery right after we moved in.

Here it is now. I painted a border around it and pasted ribbon to the wall.  Jon also replaced the light fixtures in this room, they look so much better and I am no longer afraid of them falling down.

This is the bathroom in July, you can barely see it but in the upper left corner is our box light.

 Another view of the bathroom.

Jon replaced the light with a very nice new one that matches the rest of the lights downstairs.  I also painted and put a texture on the walls.  I am very proud of this bathroom especially since the two colors I choose for the walls match the curtains and vase perfectly.

This is Rachel in July, but the reason for this picture is to show the fence.

James showing you how bad it was.

Other than Michael, this was one of the best blessings this spring.  The day we went to the hospital Pastor Fenske and some other members came and tore down our fence and built us a new one.  They did this so I wouldn't have to chase James any more.

I think they did a wonderful job and we are so thankful for all the support and love that this congregation shows us.
These pictures not only show the fence, but they show James and Barb playing with bubbles.
