We went to a Pastor's Conference in Bismark, ND. I think it was alright, James and I spent the first two days in search of bathing suits because we forgot ours. Thankfully we found some good deals since swim suit season is over. James seemed to enjoy running around the hotel and riding on the luggage carts. He also loved being able to open the doors all by himself (because of the handicap buttons).
We had the pack-in-play with us and James figured out how to climb into it. We were relaxing for a half hour before nap time and I had Little Einstein's on and he decided that he wanted to watch the show in his pack-in-play, which made putting him down for a nap one step easier.
We took a different way home so that way we could see some more of North Dakota. We went through Minot and saw some of the flooding, and we also saw some flooding in smaller towns. It is hard to imagine that much water and its destruction. We also went through Devils Lake, there a lake is slowly getting bigger and taking a toll on the farm lands around it.
Above is Pastor Fenske and James at the Devils Lake rest stop.
