Houdini???

James is feeling better because his messes are  much bigger.  As annoying as it is to clean up, it is good to see him back to normal.
Jon and I put James to bed for his afternoon nap, he was tired and crabby and he was ready to go to bed.  However after we closed the door we heard him playing with the doorknob.  This is not uncommon, he has done that before so we did not think anything of it, we just made a mental note to move his crib a little further away from the door.  After an hour of hearing him play with the door knob Jon went in to get him, and to Jon's surprise James was out of his crib.  How he did it, we don't know.  We did not hear a thump come from his room, he did not cry and he does not have an extra scratch or bruise.  As a precaution I have removed almost everything from his crib.  If he continues to bewilder us with his escape plans we will go to a toddler bed earlier than we planned on.  It just goes to show, that you can have all the plans in the world, and your kids start to foil them from day one.  But, the foiling has been fun and it has given us some great stories.
