We are halfway through the month of September. I have not had a lot of time to do an update so here is a big one highlighting what we have done.
Daniel is continuing to grow so fast. He loves his brothers and he loves to watch them play.
The play with Legos a lot, which is great.
James -"Michael look, I built a store."
Michael -"Oh wow!"
James - "yeah, but you have to be quiet because someone is sleeping inside."
Michael - "Oh, tired."
This conversation seemed odd to me because I thought it was strange that someone would sleep inside a store. However the boys thought that it was perfectly normal.
We had a block party at one of the churches. Some firemen were there and they were allowing kids to spray water out of the hose. Both boys loved it!
They were also able to get in and "drive" the firetruck and police car.
James came downstairs one morning and said "I had a dream that I was riding a bike with just 2 wheels, it was fun. I am going to do that soon." I love his determination.
We walked with the Children's Center in the Potato Bowl Parade. James had a great plan of how to hand out candy,"I am going to give one piece away and I am going to put one in the wagon for me. I am going to keep doing that until we run out and then I am going to sit and eat my candy." Thankfully, he did not eat that much candy, but he did have fun.
We decorated the wagon and our stroller. You can see Daniel sleeping in the stroller, he woke up once the parade started and he smiled through the whole thing.
Another day at the park.
James - "Mom, Michael needs to be micro-managed because he doesn't know how to do it."
Me - "He does know how to do it and he likes to do it his way."
James - "Yeah, that isn't the right way."
Oh James, he always makes me laugh.
Daniel and his fuzzy hair.
James loves being the oldest brother. He often tells me that he is a great older brother and that God gave him 2 brothers because He knew that James was a good brother.
James -"Mom, look at what Michael built. Michael, you did a great job!" He was talking about an airport that Michael built. James does like to encourage Michael, most of the time.
These boys keep us going and they keep us smiling. They all really are a joy.
Here is one last story; we put the boys to bed and as soon as Jon left the room we hear James talking to Michael.
James -"Michael do you want to play a game?"
Michael -"Yeah!!"
James -"Let's play the tickle bed game!"
Michael -"OK!"
The tickle bed game is where James gets into the crib with Michael and tickles him.
