We had our circuit picnic today. It was out at Pastor Neels new lake place. We are always excited to go out to their place because we always have fun.
Jon took the boys on a few 4-wheeler rides. Jon told Michael to smile, he was not impressed with Jon's selfie.
Denny took Jon and the boys out fishing. James was so excited about learning how to fish and he couldn't stop talking about it. It was in the middle of the afternoon and the fish were not really biting, but because they were all excited they went out on the boat.
Everyone was surprised that they actually caught some fish. James was watching very carefully on how to remove the hook from the mouth. They ended up catching 2 perch and 4 walleye in 30 minutes. Denny said that it was the best quick fishing trip that he has had in ND.
Both boys loved being out on the boat and they both loved fishing. However, Denny told us that we now have a big problem. The problem is that the boys are going to expect to catch fish every time they go fishing.
They were very excited to show me their fish that they did catch and they were even excited to see how Denny cleaned the fish. When they were clean we fried them. The boys were even excited to try the fish and they enjoyed it very much. We will have to go fishing again this summer and see if we have just as much luck.
