Trunk or Treat

Moriah and our little Yoda.

We had Trunk or Treat last night at church.  Thankfully we did not have any rain, but it was a little cool.  We had a great turn out and everyone had a good time.  We are slowly getting more trunks every year, and the themes are getting bigger.  I have our Star Wars themed trunk below and how it looked after it began to get dark.  James and Michael loved having their very own light sabers.  I could not afford to buy adult Star Wars costumes so I made both mine and Jon's.  His is flannel and fleece so he was nice and warm.  I made a fleece helmet for myself which I was very thankful for because I was cold by the end of the night.
Our Star Wars family.

Jon teaching James how to use a light saber before everything began.

Jon and Pastor Fenske.  Pastor Fenske drove the Bat Mobile in for Trunk or Treat.

The Death Star lit up.  We did not win best trunk, but all of the boys and men who know Star Wars thought that we had the best trunk.  So that was good enough for me.
