James loves to hear the doorbell ring because it usually means that there is a package and he thinks all packages are for him. He was right on a few.
Uncle Steve and Aunt Rachel sent a Chuck the Truck race track that he loved to play with. It was also perfect timing because the weather was starting to get really cold.
James has a weird sense of humor, he thought it was funny to have his dinosaur ornament eat the tree.
I wanted Jon to be able to wear his Christmas present on our trip so I gave it to him early so that way I could wash it, Michael wanted to model it for everyone. For those who are not geeks and don't watch podcasts, this is from The Totally Rad Show and the picture is a fist bump.
When the weather started to get into the single digits and drop below zero for a week and the boys and I were not able to play outside, Jon and I gave James his Christmas gift. It is a train table. We had it built by a member of the congregation. He knows James very well so he put a support beam underneath knowing that James would climb on top of it. He was right about that.
Michael got his early too, it was only fair.
James was so excited about his trains going on the table, and a new road for them.
I needed to work on the train table so James set up his tracks on the floor.
I added some grass, a rock quarry and some water. I will probably paint them too, but we will see. At least James loves his Christmas gift and we were happy to give it to him early when we started to see -11 and lower in the forecast.
