Playing in the Snow

We had about an inch of snow fall last night, so we woke up to a beautiful sight.  We took James out in it after church, he really seemed to like it.  We told him that God gave him snow for his birthday present, I am not sure what he though about that.

What is that white stuff falling from the sky, can I eat it?

So James is now 11 months old, that is hard to believe.  He weighs in at 25 lbs and he is 28.5 in long, and he is wearing 18 month clothes already.  He is also eating table food and drinking whole milk.  He can now open anything, including the refrigerator and pantry door.  He is not walking yet, but I am sure that is just around the corner.  It is fun to see him think about something and then when he decides to do it the action is fast.  He takes after his Dad with that one, Jon is a thinker.  For instance, he will take time to debate which toy to put in his mouth and he will sit there and hold one in each hand for a while, then when he decides, one toy is in his mouth the other is thrown somewhere else.  I enjoy his little debates because it gives me time to react, like when he is deciding to go to the bathroom or to his bedroom, I have plenty of time to make the decision for him.

We went to Seminary Park to play in the snow with James, here is Mom pulling him around the trees.

Is it your turn Dad?

Going up hill.

This is fun, can we do it again!!!
